Shareholders of the Company are referred to the cautionary update released by CEC Africa Investments Limited (“CECA” or “the Company”) on 3 October 2017, in which shareholders and the market were informed that the shares of CECA were permitted to start trading on the LuSE quoted market effective 9 October 2017 following the Company’s publication of interim results on 7th September 2017.
The SEC has requested that this cautionary announcement remain in force until the audited financial statements of CECA for the year ending 31 December 2017 are published.
Accordingly, shareholders and the investing public are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of CECA before publication of the audited results for the year ending 31 December 2017, and should seek professional advice from a licensed investment adviser or broker.
