Further to the cautionary announcement dated 17th April 2020, shareholders and the market are advised that there are circumstances relating to the appointment of a receiver to manage the assets of KANN Utility Company Limited (“KANN”), a Nigerian registered company in which CEC Africa Investments Limited holds 75%, following KANN’s default on the repayment of the United Bank of Africa (“UBA”) loan facility of US$121,800,000.
The full impact of the facts above are currently being determined and may have an effect on the price of the company’s securities.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s securities until a full announcement is made.
